03. Reveal & Ordering
When your photos are ready, we'll meet again for your reveal & ordering appointment where I will present your finished gallery of images and you will make your purchase selections. Your order will be hand-delivered once it arrives.
Your portrait session will be fun and all about you. I'll capture several looks and poses for variety, putting my creative vision to work. I will then carefully review the images and artistically edit and retouch the best from the session.
We will first meet for a consultation where you'll have the chance to see product samples, learn about my process, and preview detailed pricing information. Once booked, we will plan your session by email, by phone, or in person.
Display your session in style with luxury printed products
Q: What types of products do most clients purchase?
A: Albums are very popular! They are the perfect way to get all of your favorite photos in one place. Other favorites include prints for the wall and to give as gifts, wallet size prints to hand out to friends, as well as a small specialty product like an acrylic block or metal.
Q: What type of camera equipment do you use?
A: I professional Canon digital cameras and Canon L-Series lenses, to ensure the highest quality images. And of course, I always bring backup equipment!
Q: Will you edit the pictures?
A: All images are processed (edited) for print, which includes color correction, lighting adjustments, and cropping/straightening. Portraits will be retouched if necessary so that you look like the best version of yourself. This means that I will remove or minimize blemishes while not altering permanent features.
Q: Why prints? Do you also offer the digital files for sale?
A: I believe that a portrait is a work of art that needs to be enjoyed somewhere other than just on the computer. I want you to receive the best quality printed products available. And yes, I do offer the option to purchase the digital images if you wish. Whether you purchase prints or digitals, you will receive a corresponding watermarked digital image just for sharing on social media (because I totally understand you want to show off your portraits there too).
Q: Did you go to school for photography?
A: I did! In college, I completed various courses in photography, art, and graphic design. My first photography class involved shooting and developing my own film in a darkroom, which was an invaluable experience.
Q: I am ready to book a session, but don't have much style. Can you help me with this?
A: Every client will be given access to an exclusive "Style Guide" which contains helpful tips for preparing for your session and dressing your best! I always recommend dressing up when having professional portraits taken.
Q: Do you photograph weddings? What about newborns?
A: While I have photographed these genres in the past, I am not currently taking bookings for weddings or newborns. I will gladly refer you to other talented photographers in the area who specializes in these genres.
Q: Can I include my pet in my session?
A: Yes, so as long as your pet is leashed and well-behaved, and allowed at the location we are using.
